Erica Parrish specializes in working with a variety of different age groups and backgrounds. In the therapist role, she believes in meeting the client where they are at, and transparency. When working with younger clients she believes that it is important to also work with the family. Erica has experience working with families in order to work towards understanding and strengthen the overall family unit. Erica believes that the key to making progress is building and maintaining a trusting and empathetic relationship with the client. Erica has lots of experience working with families, teens & young adults. For the past 11 years she has worked in the school system as a licensed school counselor. During that time she worked with students on academic, college/career, and mental health issues.
Erica is a certified trauma informed provider and has experience working with families, college students, and individuals. Erica also is experienced working and leading crisis response and is EMDR trained.
Originally from Eastern Oregon, Erica has lived in many parts of the country and has experience working with many populations. She earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Oregon State University in 2011 and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. Erica is also a huge advocate for school counselors and sits on the Board of the Montana School Counseling Association.
Erica Parrish is bilingual (English/Spanish); she sees patients ages 12 and up and families.
