I view therapy as a caring for the whole psyche. Working to reduce symptoms means looking at the patterns of our life and bringing awareness and balance to the unconscious aspects of ourselves that are causing us strife. Working through an integrative approach, weaving soul psychology, somatic awareness, trauma work, and utilizing dreams, I hope to reduce the pain from past or ongoing traumas by giving both tools to help us navigate life and a deeper integration and awareness of who we are and what brings us balance and meaning in life.
Traumatic experiences in life can be both subtle and abrupt. They serve to unbalance us bringing about differing symptoms that cause further distress and pain, separating us from our community, loved ones and ourselves. I work with adults of differing backgrounds dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and more.
